So How Effective Is Cinnamon For
Losing Weight & Lowering Your Blood Sugar?...
In people that are overweight, fat and muscle cells gradually lose their ability to respond to insulin, the hormone that directs cells to remove excess glucose from the bloodstream. As a result, glucose builds up in the blood, causing symptoms such as being tired all the time, weight gain and poor sleeping habits.
Clinical studies have established that cinnamon "rekindles" the ability of fat cells of overweight people to recognize and respond to insulin again in a POSTIVE manner, increasing their glucose metabolism twenty-fold.

The substance responsible, for doing this in cinnamon is a polyphenol called methylhydroxy chalcone polymer (MHCP). Simply stated, by taking cinnamon, increases your body's "sensitivity" to sugars and therefore, your body produces LESS insulin.
When less insulin is produced, less fat and sugar is directed into the fat cells and more towards muscle cells. Hence, less body fat and more muscle.

Insulin is known as a "storage" hormone and hence, it STORES FAT. So, the higher your blood sugar levels, the higher your insulin levels and the more the food you eat gets converted to and stored as ugly body fat.
